In a tragic incident, a mother–son duo was killed in a road accident in Namrup of Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
The duo died after being knocked down by a speeding oil tanker. They died on the spot before they could get medical attention.
The deceased have been identified as Momi Phukon aged 30 years and her 6 year old son Rajpal Phukon.
