Chief Minister Conrad Sangma continued his attack on the Congress stating that the party was trying to mislead the people of the state as far as the development works of the state government is concerned.

Reacting to Congress leader and former Minister Zenith Sangma’s recent remark that the current developmental works of the government was all about serving old wine in a new bottle working on already laid plans and schemes of the Congress.

Conrad Sangma pointed out that a whole lot of flagship programmes were not implemented properly by the Congress.

Sangma further maintained that things are changing now with the new governmenmt doing things differently.

On the growing verbal attacks by the Congress, the Chief Minister said that these are unnecessary comments as the Congress has nothing better to do.

Meanwhile, the Meghalaya chief minister also said that the NPP will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Mizoram and expressed confidence that the party will make a mark.
