A woman was killed on the spot after a massive rock crushed her car in the Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh amid massive rain-triggered landslides being reported from East and West Siang since yesterday.
The incident took place this morning between Pangin and Yombeng in Siang district when the lady was travelling in her car.
The deceased woman has been identified as Jamoh An.
The car was also damaged completely.
Yesterday, several vehicles were stranded between Babuk and Kebang villages situated in between West and East Siang districts after a massive landslide blocked the roads.
Many vehicles coming from Aalo and Pasighat sides were left stranded due to the massive landslide.
Locals have claimed that it might take at least 2-3 days to clear the debris and make the roads motorable again.
