The Arunachal Congress has announced the name of Tarh Johny for the Palin seat for the coming state Assembly polls.
The announcement comes days after Takam Pario, the Congress candidate for Palin seat joined BJP within a day of he being given the Cong ticket for the Palin seat.
Pario, in a surprise move on March 22, left Congress and joined BJP extending unconditional support to the BJP candidate from Palin, Balo Raja.
Congress announced the Johny’s name yesterday after the approval of party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge.
The Congress has so far announced 34 names for the 60-member Arunachal Assembly polls. The party will contest all the 60 seats.
