He said that as part of the routine process of sending reports to the party, he has sent an election report to AICC along with his observations, suggestions, and opinions

Arunachal Pradesh Congress president Nabam Tuki has dismissed reports stating that he had resigned from his position and said that he had submitted a note to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) listing out suggestions to further strengthen Arunahcal Congress ahead of the Assembly elections. He suggested appointing a president, working president, interim president, or chairman of a campaign committee so that he could concentrate on his constituency responsibilities for the upcoming elections in the state.

He said that as part of the routine process of sending reports to the party, he has sent an election report to AICC along with his observations, suggestions, and opinions.

Speaking to Northeast Live, Nabam Tuki said, “I am not quitting the party at all. I did not submit any resignation letter to AICC. As part of the regular procedure of sending reports to the party, I had sent a communication to AICC related to election report mentioning all other political developments, activities, organisational aspects and election preparedness along with my observation, suggestions and my opinions.”

“I have given my suggestion saying that I will be busy for contesting assembly election. I will give full time for campaigning in the other assembly constituencies. Everybody will be looking forward to the party president for the campaigning, so, the party should appoint a working president, interim president, or campaign committee chairman to spearhead the campaigns for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabba elections,” he added.

Nabam Tuki said that somebody might be trying to tarnish his hard earned image in politics but they will never succeed.
