Secretary of Tripura State Committee of CPI (M) Bijan Dhar has alleged that the political environment has been vitiated by the BJP-led ruling government in the State.
Addressing media persons yesterday, Dhar added that more than 300 offices belonging to the CPI (M) and other political parties have been dismantled in the state.
He further alleged that the attacks on the party workers of CPI(M) have been on the rise, stating that two leaders were attacked in Kailashahar and Gondachhra on August 18 and 19.
He said that such situation is hindering the state to function democratically.
