In entire Arunachal Pradesh the mood is in favour of the BJP because people are well known about the fact as to how the party has delivered in Arunachal Pradesh. In the days to come, I am planning a major reform in the planning process.”

Now, the biggest income generation that will happen in the state will occur through the hydropower sector. In this aspect we have already made functional the Kameng power project. Next year we will make operational the 2000 MW Lower Subansiri Hydroelectric Power Project. Construction works have already begun for the 2880 MW Dibang Power Project. Two months back a total of 12, 700 MW through the GoI’s public sector undertaking we have signed a MoU with the GoI through public sector undertaking Two months back on a project of 12, 700 MW, for which works will begin soon.

Once the projects are operational on ground, in the next 7 to 8 years, than the income of Arunachal Pradesh will earn Rs 10,000 crore in a year only in this sector.”
