Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang turns 56, PM, HM and other ministers send wishes

Tamang is the sixth Chief Minister of Sikkim and has been serving in that position since 2019

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, also known as P.S Golay turns 56 today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders sent in their wishes to the Sikkim leader.
Taking to his official X handle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him a long life and good health.
“Birthday greetings to Sikkim CM Shri @PSTamangGolay Ji. May he be blessed with a long life and good health,” he wrote.


Chief Minister Tamang thanked the Prime Minister for his wishes and wrote, “Thank you Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji for your warm and heartfelt birthday wishes. Your thoughtful message has made the day even more memorable. Grateful for your leadership and support.”


Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished Tamang on his official X handle. He wrote, “Warm birthday greetings to Sikkim Chief Minister Shri @PSTamangGolay Ji. May the Almighty continue to bless you with good health and the energy to keep serving the people.”


Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma sent his wishes, calling Tamang a leader of the grassroots and “a valued partner” of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

A leader of the grassroots and a valued partner of NDA, he is working tirelessly to ensure the all-round development of Sikkim. Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu wrote on his official handle, “My heartiest birthday greetings and good wishes to Sikkim’s dynamic leader, and CM Shri Prem Singh Tamang Ji. Your dedication and vision inspire us all. Wishing you a year filled with success, good health, and continued service to the people of Sikkim.”


Tamang is the sixth Chief Minister of Sikkim and has been in office since 2019. He is the founder of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party.
