Arunachal CM Pema Khandu inaugurates key projects in Mariyang-Geku constituency

With the inauguration of the new schemes, road connectivity as well as administrative convenience are expected to get a big boost

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu is on a whirlwind tour in the Upper Siang district since yesterday. With the development issue high on the agenda, CM Khandu launched a number of welfare schemes today in the Mariyang-Geku assembly constituency.

To ensure that there is development and progress in every nook and corner of the state, CM Khandu inaugurated and laid base for several projects that will perhaps go a long way in terms of infrastructure development, road connectivity as well as administrative convenience.

Accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao, state Health Minister Alo Libang, MLAs Kanggong Taku, Ojing Tasing, Moyong Kaling and Kento Jini, Chief Minister Khandu inaugurated the following projects at the Mariyang-Geku assembly constituency-

-Micro Irrigation Project for Sidum Mouling Area, Geku
-Irrigation Canal from Sipi River to Yumge Sarol and Halaromiang WRC Field, Milang Lanpong
-Sub-division Office of AE WRD Mariyang
-Road from Geku to Katan
-Pobe Administrative Circle
-Extension of Circuit House, Mariyang
-Extension of Gidi-Notko, Mariyang

Besides, the Chief Minister also laid base for the following projects which include-
-Foundation Stones
-Cement Concrete Pavement Road, Mariyang Township
-Multipurpose Community Hall, Damro
-Road from Mindi-Yorbe to Govt Model College, Geku
-Road from NH-513, Padu to Circle HQ Katan
-PWD Road to Peki-Modi

The Chief Minister in a post on X said, “These projects are the stepping stones towards building a progressive, inclusive and developed Arunachal Pradesh.”

On Tuesday too, CM Khandu launched key projects in Yingkiong under the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

These include-
-Upgradation of road from Aalo-Yingkiong; BRTF Road to Dite-Dime to Migging BRTF Road
-New CHC building & EAC office at Jengging
-Cement Concrete Pavement of Nubo Road
-Micro hydel station (2x25kw) at Mankota
-Micro hydel station (1x30kw) at Palling
