The Pema Khandu-led Arunachal cabinet gave the go ahead for the appointments in its meeting on December 12. The Cabinet decision followed recommendations of the Screening Committee for selection of chairman and member of APPSC and also the Gauhati High Court judgement dated 8th December.
The chairman and members will hold the office for a period of six years from the date on which they join office or till the age of 62.
