Arunachal Pradesh: Tableau on ‘Anglo-Abor War’ to feature in Republic Day Parade

The tableau from the state has been selected for the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi’s Rajghat on January 26th. Earlier, on January 15th, the Union Ministry of Defence cleared the tableau in the final round for presentation in the Republic Day Parade.
The tableau selected from Arunachal Pradesh is based on the theme ‘Anglo-Abor Wars’ and the same has been conceptualised and designed by the Art & Exhibition Cell of the Directorate of Information & Public Relations of Arunachal Pradesh.

Currently, a 17-member delegation under Nodal Officer Onyok Pertin from Arunachal’s IPR Directorate is camped in New Delhi and are rehearsing for the grand event. According to reports, they arrived in New Delhi on January 12th from Mikong Village in the East Siang District.
