CM Sarma meets BJP MLAs, discuss party & govt’s improved coordination

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a crucial meeting with the BJP MLAs at the party headquarters in Guwahati last night. The meeting was held mainly to formulate ways of coordination between the state government and the ruling BJP.

Chief Minister Sarma also directed MLAs to prepare for the municipal elections slated to be held next year.

Additionally, CM Sarma also asked MLAs to form coordination committees in their respective constituencies that will work primarily for providing jobs to the unemployed youths and thus contribute in the financial stability of the state.

Further CM Sarma also urged the MLAs to celebrate Magh Bihu with the BJP Karyakartas. He added, BJP MLAs need to spend time with their parents on 6, 7, 8 and 9th of January, as is the case with government employees.
