Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has issued a clarification after his luxury watch was seized by customs officials at the Mumbai airport. The cricketer said that wrong perceptions have been floating
He asserted that he had gone to the Mumbai airport customs counter voluntarily to declare the items he had brought to pay the required customs charge.
It may be mentioned that last year, Hardik Pandya’s brother Krunal Pandya was detained at the Mumbai airport for reportedly failing to declare four costly watches to the Customs.
However, the Mumbai Indians player claimed he had no knowledge of the declaration process or Customs tax, as per reports.
