15 more fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported from Arunachal Pradesh on Monday, taking the state’s overall tally to 20.
This is the biggest single-day spike in coronavirus cases recorded in the frontier state. The number of active cases has now climbed to 19.
Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu in a tweet on Monday evening said all the infected patients were in quarantine facilities and they have been shifted to the Covid Care Centre.
“Rise in Positive #Covid19, 15 more positive cases detected, all are in Quarantine facilities being shifted to Covid Care Centre. Total Positive Active as of now is 19,” Khandu tweeted.
