Former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday said that a party delegation comprising of state president Ripun Bora, CLP leader Debabrata Saikia has already left for Delhi to finalize on the issue after deliberations with the Congress top brass.
The Congress veteran believes that there will be a positive outcome. He is hoping that the anti-CAA forces would back the Congress in the upcoming elections.
The former chief minister also said that both parties will fight the upcoming 2021 assembly elections together.
