In a shocking incident reported from Assam, police officials have been arrested on alleged charges of robbery.
The incident has raised many eyebrows after 5 police officials, who were on routine patrolling duty, robbed two businessmen of their cash in Morigaon district.
According to reports, the accused police officials intercepted the vehicle the duo was travelling in at Dharamtul before decamping with their money.
Meanwhile, the arrested police officers have been identified as Rituraj Saikia and Debajit Bhuyan of 11 Assam police battalion, police constable Dulal Pator and Home Guards Kamal Dekaraja and Biswajit Das and all the money that they had looted has now been seized.
