Manipur Chief Minister and senior BJP leader N Biren Singh met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today ahead of Friday’s crucial all NE chief ministers’ meet.

State BJP chief KS Bhabananda was also present at the meet. The meeting was to register Manipur’s opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

The state has been witnessing widespread protests against the Bill thus putting the Biren Singh led government in a spot.
