The Baksa police have arrested the lone accused Putul Das alias Sunu Das in connection with the rape of a specially-abled woman at Dighol-donga in Assam’s Baksa district.
A specially-abled woman was allegedly raped by unidentified miscreants in her own residence on Friday.
The accused had allegedly raped the victim while she was alone at her home and was hiding in a forest nearby before being nabbed by the police and para military troopers.
