At least 2 insurgents were gunned down by security forces in a fierce gun battle that took place late last night at Sonu Nocksa village near Tissa in Tirap district
At least 2 insurgents were gunned down by security forces in a fierce gun battle that took place late last night at Sonu Nocksa village near Tissa in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Top security sources told Northeast Live that the identity of the slain insurgents are yet to be ascertained.
Forces are also trying to ascertain as to of which insurgent outfit the two militants belonged and are taking the assistance of local police to identify the insurgents.
Meanwhile, one AK series rifle and a pistol has been recovered from the slain insurgents.
