In a bizarre twist of events, the MLA from the Borkhola constituency in Assam’s Cachar district has received a summon from the Foreigners Tribunal.

MLA Kishore Nath and his family members have been served a notice by the Foreigners Tribunal where doubts have been raised on their nationality.

Along with the MLA, the notice includes the names of his wife Nilima Nath, and his four brothers Motilal Nath, Pradip Nath, Jagdish Nath, Manik Nath and a sister-in-law named Rakhi Nath.

A total of seven members of the family including the MLA have been named in the notice. It is to be noted here that Nath belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
