Based on specific inputs regarding presence of NSCN (K) cadres and over ground workers at Mulong village in Changlang District, security forces launched a massive search operation and apprehended two Myanmarese cadres of NSCN(K).

The cadres have been identified as 29 years old Kumsai Munwa, hailing from Jokob Village in Myanmar and 25 year old Khemoth Ketnga, a resident of Kakhuve Village in Pangsong district of Myanmar.

An active over ground worker of NSCN-K named Noksham Tuche was also apprehended during the operation.

Further search of the area lead to recovery of one Improvised Explosive Device, IED Activator with controller and 4 IED detonators.

Meanwhile, Security forces also apprehended one NSCN (IM) militant from Tirap district during an operation yesterday.
