Chief Minister N Biren Singh has stated that a bill for protection of the indigenous inhabitants of the state will be passed within two to three months and further appealed to the people to have patience until then.

The Chief Minister said that the bill for the protection of the indigenous inhabitants of the state is also the desire of the BJP led Government at the Centre. He assured that a bill for the same will be passed during the upcoming Monsoon Assembly session.

The Chief Minister also announced that a project on bathrooms at an estimated cost of 1.5 lakh rupees will be constructed at public ponds in villages to protect the chastity of women at the wake of cyber crimes.
