One lakh Amphetamine tablets called “R 7” of foreign origin having a total worth of around Rs 2 crore was seized from one identified as 39 year old Sujit Das by the anti-Smuggling unit officers, Customs division Imphal today.
The seizure was carried out in the North A.O.C area of Imphal. As per reports, the drugs were smuggled from Myanmar through Moreh. Meanwhile, further investigations are underway into the matter.
