Operations by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited at Lakuwa in Sivasagar district of Eastern Assam has allegedly led to severe pollution in the vicinity.
Villagers who have been adversely affected due to discharge from a Gas Gathering Station of the oil major installed in the area, took to the streets blocking the road at Ujjani Konwar village.
