The Global superstar and Awesome Assam ambassador who has recently been tied up with her Hollywood commitments has come to India only to shoot for the second leg of the ‘Awesome Assam’ ad campaign, which will be the last one before the expiry of her two year contract with the Assam Government.

Priyanka is here for three days before she returns back to New York City. She arrived in Jorhat today in a chartered plane and on her arrival, fans lined outside the airport.

After her arrival,  Priyanka drove to the Huborno Prabhab Bordoloi Girls’ High School where students as well as teachers were thrilled to bits as the global icon shook her legs on the tunes of Bihu along with them.

Priyanka will begin the ad shoot from tomorrow which will be recorded at The Banyan Grove, Thangal Manor and Kaziranga Golf Resort. All three are heritage sites owned by Baruah Associates.

Before reaching, Priyanka took to instagram to express her happiness to be back to Assam after a long break. The actress kept posting videos one by one, embracing the beauty of the state’s culture.

Apart from promoting Quantico 3, Priyanka is also producing an Assamese film that will be directed by celebrated director, Jahnu Baruah.
