In a sensational incident, one person was killed while three others were seriously injured after a violent clash broke out between two groups at Nagarbera in Kamrup district over a land dispute.
Allegedly Akkas Ali and his family had encroached upon a land owned by another person named Salimudduin, which triggered the outrage.
An irate mob set a house ablaze during the violent clash. A group that went on a rampage also set ablaze accused Akkas Ali’s house.
Later, three persons have been arrested in connection with the case.
