In a big boost for the Mizo National Front ahead of the Mizoram assembly elections, former Congress leader and Home Minister Lalzirliana is all set to join the MNF soon.

Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live Editor in Chief Wasbir Hussain, MNF Chief Zoramthanga confirmed about the development and added that the party was in talks with Lalzirliana for quite some time.

He informed that Lalzirliana was very unhappy with the Congress as the party neglected the aspirations of people of his constituency.

The MNF chief said that more Congress MLA’s are in the line up to join the party.
