In a sensational incident, a lady police constable was allegedly stabbed by a youth in Guwahati.
The miscreant identified as Ajay Kalita attacked the victim while she was on her way to home at Hatigaon. According to reports, the victim was in a relationship with the accused and had moved to Pune following a split.
Meanwhile, Ajay filed a missing report of the lady constable with the Hatigaon police on July 15. Subsequent to this, the victim who is a constable of Dispur police station returned to Guwahati.
The duo then appeared before the Hatigaon police yesterday. However, soon after leaving the police station Ajay attacked the victim and then fled from the spot.
