In a big breakthrough, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel have rescued as many as eight youngsters including minors from Gujarat who were being held by a gang under the pretext of job opportunities.
All of them were taken from Darranga in Kalipur area in Baksa district of Assam.
The rescued individuals have been brought back to Assam and handed over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at the Kamakhya Railway station at 6 am today.

As per reports the gang had reportedly taken 1 year’s salary of Rs 5 lakh from them.
The rescue of the victims came in after their family members filed a complaint against the gang at the Kumarikata Police Station in Baksa.
