Assam: Women robbed of phone by miscreants in Noonmati

It seems the law and order situation scenario in Guwahati has gone for a toss. One after the other, incident of crime is being reported from the city almost daily.

An incident of robbery has been reported that took place yesterday at the Noonmati area. Just one day after a man was attack and robbed of his money, again at the same spot.

A woman was robbed of her mobile phone by a group of miscreants who also tried to snatch the chain around her neck. The repeated incident of crime in Noonmati has raised the concern among the residents there.

Earlier, in Noonmati area a group of robbers has allegedly robbed a person. As per reports, the robbery happened last night around 8:30 PM when a dacoit looted money and a mobile phone from a person identified as Kishore Kalita.

Kalita who was reportedly admitted at the Gate Hospital in Noonmati for the last few days was heading home after being discharged.

On his way back, an unidentified miscreant threatened him with a sharp weapon and looted him.
