Woman Strangled to Death by Husband, Body Found Buried in Assam’s Golaghat Forest

Assam: Woman Strangled to Death by Husband, Bogai allegedly buried Reena's body in the forest to conceal the incident.

In a shocking incident, the body of a murdered woman was found buried in a forest in Assam’s Golaghat district.

The victim has been identified as Reena Nayak, who was allegedly strangled to death by her husband, Bogai Nayak, following a heated altercation.

According to reports, the couple was intoxicated when the incident occurred. Bogai claimed that Reena slipped and fell while crossing a makeshift bridge. When he tried to help her, she allegedly kicked him and refused his help. This reportedly angered Bogai so much that and he strangled Reena to death.

After committing the crime, Bogai allegedly buried Reena’s body in the forest to conceal the incident. Police have arrested Bogai and recovered the body following his confession.

An investigation is underway to uncover further details that must have led to the tragic incident.
