A woman pretending to be an Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC) was caught by locals in Padupari village of Darrang district in Assam. The fake ADC got caught when she was trying to resolve a land dispute at a local resident Majibur Rehman’s house.
People became suspicious because of her behaviour and called the police.
Earlier, a fake doctor and two of his associates have been apprehended in Karimganj, Assam on September 16. The impostor, who had been posing as an MBBS doctor, has been identified as Alman Salman
According to reports, the fake doctors had been practicing in Karimganj for a long period of time. The local community had raised concerns about their activities, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
