Another woman from Manipur has tested positive for COVID-19 in New Delhi.

According to latest reports, the woman is an immediate contact of the nurse of Max Hospital in New Delhi who was earlier tested positive for the deadly virus.

Earlier, a 24-year-old woman from Manipur working as a nurse at the Max Super Speciality Hospital in Delhi’s Saket area was tested positive for the deadly virus.

The woman, who hails from Manipur’s Thoubal district, lives in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj area along with nine other family members. As per reports, all the family members have also been put in quarantine and are undergoing medical tests.

This latest case takes the total tally of COVID-19 cases from Manipur to a total of 4.

Prior to this, a woman with a travel history to the United Kingdom tested positive and after that a man who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi had tested positive.

The first COVID-19 patient with the travel history to the UK has recently recovered.
