Assam has reported 2,669 new COVID-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 64,406. The fresh cases have been detected out of 52,062 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

With a positivity rate of 5.12 pc, the active cases in the state stands at 20,662.

Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma taking to Twitter informed, “2669 COVID cases detected out of 52062 tests in last 24 hrs. Positivity rate- 5.12%.”

“Kamrup (M)- 399, Dibrugarh- 259, Karbi Anglong- 189, Tinsukia- 181,” Sarma added.

(Total cases: 64,406, Recovered: 43,586, Active cases: 20,662, Deaths 155)

Meanwhile, four more people have succumbed to the deadly virus in Assam, taking the total number of fatalities in the State to 155.
