Wild deer rescued in Assam’s Nagaon district

A deer has been rescued at Kothiatoli in Assam’s Nagaon district.

The deer had come out to human habitat in search of food and when its presence was reported to the local forest department it was promptly rescued by the authorities.

The deer was captured at the Sagunbahi village with the help of the local people and finally sent off to the local veterinary hospital for treatment. The deer is soon slated to be released in the wild.
