The result of the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections came as a blow to the People’s Democratic Alliance government, particularly to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party as it lost the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland to the opposition. The campaign speeches of some of the leaders have not gone down too well for its alliance partner, the Bharatiya Janata Party, where they are indirectly being blamed for losing the Lok Sabha. Speaking to Northeast Live on this matter, senior politician and Advisor Imkong L Imchen, mincing no words, said the speeches made by NDPP MLAs during the ULB poll campaigns was a direct accusation on BJP, to which he said was “misleading” the people.
