After testing positive in the dope test, Commonwealth Games gold medal-winning weightlifter Sanjita Chanu is now seeking help of Manipur governor Najma Heptulla.

The weightlifter narrated her ordeal of being charged with doping and the threat of losing her medal. While making some shocking revelations, Chanu submitted an appeal to the governor suspecting a foul play.

The weightlifter said that she was also threatened about losing her job at railways. Sanjita Chanu who is currently on suspension, has blamed the Indian Weighlifting federation for the foulplay. She’s alleged that she was never given any proper explanation from the federation.
