Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma has called for peace and urged upon the university authorities to ensure such incidents do not take place

Four students from North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) in Shillong sustained injuries, one has been admitted to Shillong Civil Hospital after a fight broke out between two groups of students on Monday night at the university campus. Reportedly, one group of student surrounded another group of students residing in Hostel 19 and clashes broke out. There have been reports of students throwing stones. The incident occurred around 10:30 pm last night. Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma has called for peace and urged upon the university authorities to ensure such incidents do not take place.
