Watch | Mudslides in Sonapur tunnel, Meghalaya; traffic halted

Massive mudslide has been reported at the Sonapur tunnel on National Highway NH-06 in East Jaintia Hills on Tuesday. Following the mudslide, traffic was disrupted for hours.
The authorities have started clearing the area. It may be mentioned that on May 27, a similar mudslide had hit the area disrupting vehicular movement for hours. The road connects Barak valley, Mizoram and Tripura with Meghalaya and Assam.
