Amid speculations that the Voice of People Party from Meghalaya has voted in favour of NDA speaker candidate Om Birla, sources within the party have dismissed any such move. Party sources told Northeast Live that the VPP has not voted in favour of Om Birla as was being reported by a particular national media house.
