Crimes against women in Assam seem to continue unabated. In the latest incident a visually impaired girl was kidnapped at Hatikhuwa Rangdhali in the state’s Golaghat district on Monday.
The incident happened near the National Highway on Monday evening where three miscreants kidnapped the girl in a vehicle. The girl was returning after visiting a nearby temple.
The police are on the look out for the girl and the miscreants. A person named Tapan from Udalguri has been suspected to be connected with the case.
