The Congress in Tripura has sought Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu’s intervention alleging that the rule of law has ceased to exist in the state. Citing cases of violence against Congress-backed candidates in the run up to the elections; the Congress leaders urged the Governor to urgently step in so that the law and order situation can be restored.
