Union Minister of State for Food Processing Rameswar Teli has been caught on the wrong foot for reportedly violating quarantine protocols. The union minister had recently returned from Delhi with his mother on June 7 and was put under home quarantine.

However, instead of following the protocols the union minister was seen visiting the crisis hit zone in Baghjan to take stock of the situation.

The Dibrugarh Lok Sabha MP also reviewed the condition of the inmates at the relief camps. Apart from this, Teli also visited the residences of the firemen who had lost their lives while fighting the crisis.

When asked about the alleged violation of quarantine protocols, Teli said that there are special provisions made for VIPs and VVIPs because of which he is moving in and around his constituency.
