Veteran Assamese actor Jayanta Das, known for his roles in numerous films and TV series spanning several decades, is currently in critical condition. He was admitted to a hospital in Guwahati on Sunday and is now on life support.

Jayanta Das, renowned for his performances in Assamese films like Nayak, Moina Sorai Moina Maat, Kadambari, Mon, and Kanyadaan, as well as the hit TV series ‘Bharaghar,’ has left a lasting impact.

His significant contributions to both films and serials have earned him a special place in the hearts of the audience.
