Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav : 3 Groups from Sikkim selected to perform at R-Day parade

The selection process of the Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav competition has reached its next stage at the zonal level

Three groups from Sikkim, Dynamic Flickers Dance Academy from Ranipool performing Tamang Selo, Ujjwal Kala Kendra performing Chutke Nepali Dance, and Hamro Pariwar Academy performing Manger Jhhyowre Nepali Dance have got through the zonal finals of the ‘Vande Bharatam – Nritya Utsav’ and would be performing at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26.
The Ministry of Culture as part of Republic Day Celebrations 2023 took an initiative of conducting All-India dance competition ‘Vande Bharatam – Nritya Utsav’ under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The prime objective of this competition is to work towards promoting the spirit of ‘Jan Bhagidari’, while also showcase India’s vibrancy through its dance.
The second campaign gave top dancing talent from across the country the opportunity to perform at the Republic Day Parade in 2023.
