Vande Bharat Loco Pilot Aiswarya S Menon among invitees for Modi’s swearing-in ceremony on June 9

Aiswarya S Menon, a senior assistant loco pilot from Chennai Railway Division among 8,000 special guests invited to the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government scheduled for tomorrow.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at a grand ceremony at around 7:15 PM at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

President Droupadi Murmu will be administering the Oath of Office and Secrecy to PM Modi and members of the Union Council of Ministers.

Who is Aiswarya S Menon?

Aishwarya S Menon, currently piloting Vande Bharat trains, has completed over 2 lakh footplate hours driving various trains, including the Vande Bharat Express and Jan Shatabdi.

She was selected for her vast experience.

Menon’s excellent work on the Vande Bharat Express services between Chennai and Vijayawada and Chennai and Coimbatore earned her recognition for her skill, attentiveness, and thorough understanding of railway signaling.

Besides her, the first female loco pilot in Asia, Surekha Yadav from Wsetern Maharashtra, who is currently steering the Vande Bharat train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Solapur will also attend the the ceremony.
