Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Ram Vilas Paswan passed away on Thursday, son Chirag Paswan said. He was 74 years old.

The Rajya Sabha MP recently underwent heart surgery in a Delhi hospital.

Informing about his father’s death, LJP chief Chirag Paswan tweeted, “Now you are not in this world but I know you will always be with me wherever you are. Miss you Papa.”
