Two NSCN (Aangmai) Cadres Killed, Two Injured in Fierce Encounter with Army in Arunachal

Two cadres of the NSCN (Aangmai) faction were killed, and two others were injured during a fierce encounter on Saturday with the Special Forces of the Indian Army in Pongchau, located in eastern Arunachal Pradesh’s Longding district.
According to reports, the encounter began when the army launched a massive operation to locate two construction workers who had been kidnapped by the militants from Pongchau on Friday night.
The security forces were engaged in an intense firefight with a group of heavily armed militants. The ongoing operation is aimed at neutralizing the threat and rescuing the kidnapped workers.
