COVID-19 woes in Manipur continues to mount as two more persons test positive for the deadly virus on Saturday.

While, a 44-year old woman from Churachandpur, who recently returned to the State from Chennai has tested positive. On the other hand, a 34-year-old Mumbai returnee from Chandel district was found positive.

Samples of both the fresh cases were tested positive at the JNIMS Hospital.

Earlier in the day, one more positive case was detected in Manipur. With 55 active cases, the state’s total cases tally has now risen to 62.
