Two labourers die while digging a well in Assam’s Goreswar

In a tragic incident, two labourers lost their lives while digging a well at Bangalipara in Goreswar, Assam.
The deceased have been identified as Siraj Ali and Ramzan Ali.
It is suspected that the labourers died after inhaling poisonous gas while digging the 20-foot well.
According to locals, the two labourers felt unconscious while working in the well, and the nearby people rushed them to the nearby hospital.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Further details are awaited as the investigation is on.
